Always Default to "External Headphones" audio source

I'm using a Mac btw not sure how windows implementation is

If headphones are plugged in, it should automatically default to External Headphones as source

I notice from doing regular things like unplugging / closing lid etc. from regular use, hopping around different locations on my laptop... it has inconsistent behaviour and default to some other audio source some times so anytime plugging in headphones, I have to manually check the audio source

It should just default if headphone is plugged in, then use it (obviously it is wanted). This is purely from the Macbook headphone output and not some external hardware.
