Live piano roll articulation would be where you can edit things like quantization and strum and scale in realtime and automate them.
I think this would be soo cool and useful. Imagine being able to fade between swing presets? Alternating swings would be easy as hell!
Playlist articulation would be the ability to articulate pattern clips and audio clips in a similar way to midi notes. Of course some things wouldn't apply like level articulation and whatnot, but you could have a length randomiser, quantization for clips and patterns, and chopping and strumming options maybe?
