my idea is that it would be much easier and comforttable if there exists something like an L and R above in the bar , so that we could do this without the need of "selecting the whole desired part". if you believe this would work , please submit your ideas . i tried to suggest a quickest way so that FL programmers could implement it easily. And even if someone is not comfortable with this , could switch it to OFF and use the old fasioned way .
you could set on and off the loop function and there is no need to select the part each time
if you set it off , everything would switch back to old fashioned way
