Make Unique should not close the Piano Roll but keep it open

When editing Patterns to copy and modify them, I'm using the "Make unique" a lot.
So I'm doing the following: create a pattern, edit the notes in the Piano Roll, copying this pattern as long as desired,
then I'm making the last block unique to add some variation.
But everytime I do this the Piano Roll is getting closed, which is very annoying, and this hinders a lot the creativity.

Perhaps it is a bug in 10.0.9, or a missing feature, I don't know exactly.
