Undo for sample replace

I've made this mistake a hundred times. I accidentally replaced the wrong sample with a new one, and I no longer remember what was an old sample -> Need to save project and then load earlier version of same project to check what was that sample, and then load new one again = takes time, a lot. I know that there is list of "most recently used samples", but that doesn't really help. So, please make undo for sample replace too. Thank you.
