greetings from michael at bassland... its been a while
since my last post... just recvering from a creative blackout
and have been busy sorting through gigs of stuff in order
to have a more effecient and streamlined studio, i dont know whether any of you remember the track "american" that was posted by us a while ago... it was a bit contraversial as some dudes took a mere tune as offensive to yanks... but it was fair ok...
well just when i thought i wouldnt hear it again this version pops up from no-where by a younger member of our studio...
if you heard the other version it was slow, this version is
up beat and up tempo... i was going to post something from the rock album im working on, but it will have to wait till next week as i just cant resist the temptation to post this rather good mix! the mixers name is the" keymaster" and he is getting noticed more these days because he has an individual look on
life and is still young at heart, plus i can safely say that his version is the best ever to come out of bassland.....
if you were lucky enough to hear the other version posted a long time ago ..it was sort of hip-hoppy... this dude turned it
tronic! so i must post this version not with the intention of offending but to enjoy a very talented persons mix of it! ...
i will post a rock tune next week , please post comments as
it may encourage him to work on more modern stuff bursting outta this studio! over 18 only and dont get stroppy about it, especially if you are a doodle... tongue in cheek/parody ...
