I already bumped an old idea here: Copy channel + automation, but I got another idea regarding this issue.
How about the possibility to arm multiple channels for recording at once? I thought it was already possible, but I could not find the feature in the manual and not in the forum ... maybe I am just blind or I am right and such a feature does not exist, hm?
More details about the idea: when you select multiple channels at once liek this:
... you will get the same notes and automation for these channels, which are recorded.
Of course you can already copy the notes after recording easily ... but my intention is mainly regarding the automation (see the linked topic above). It is very time consuming to always go through all the voices just to copy the same automation. Unluckily I could not find out a nice workaround for this (ideas for such a thing are also welcome !!!). I also cannot link the target instruments to just one channel, since I want to let them play different notes often times, while having the same automation. These individual target instruments are just monophonic.
Thanks for replies and help and so on!
