Not in the forums often, so my apologies in advance if I've posted in the wrong place.
Okay, now that's out of the way, here's my issue.
One of the things I do is to use my FL Studio to record the output of my modular synth, the output passing through a Komplete Audio 6 interface into my laptop.
Is there a limit of how long I can record for?
I'm trying to create long, self-generating ambiences, and a recent example of this hit the two hour mark, started injecting harsh (warning?) beeps into the audio, and when I pressed stop recording, it crashed out, losing everything. Grr.
I'm using the option of 'record everything' and recording inputs to tracks 1 and 2.
So is there a limit, in time or space? What is it? Can I do anything to extend it? Caches? Etc.?
Thanks for the advice, all.
