I've expained this to you several times, but apparently you are too stupid to understand. I'll try one more time, Grossbeat has a rolling two bar buffer that it needs for time manipulaton. A bar is a measure of time and is dependant on your project settings, the only way for Grossbeat to know when two bars has transpired is when you have pressed play and FL's clock is running. That is just how it works, it is not going to change.Jason Greene wrote:
How? I've been asking for a long time and nobody has answered. It seems like I ask the most difficult questions because even the Image-Line highly skilled engineering developers/staff seem to run when faced with such difficulty
When I say trigger Gross-Beat via Key/Note I'm not talking linking the individual parameters within Gross-Beat to envelope controller/keyboard controller. Meaning without playback function active Gross-Beat will not be triggered. I want to specifically trigger Gross-Beat to be active when a key/note is struck not when playback is active. The way Gross-Beat is coded, it seems like Gross-Beat is a SLAVE to the playback function(meaning you will not hear the effect unless the playback function is active). I would like to assign Gross-Beat to a keyboard controller/envelope controller so that the keyboard controller/envelope controller is the MASTER instead of the playback function.
All you have to do is press play. Just press play and it works fine. How is that a problem to you? You can just be playing an empty pattern which means that no sound will be coming out. The only difference between playing an empty pattern and not playing an empy pattern is that if you are playing an empty pattern there is still no sound being played but the clock is running and Grossbeat will work.
