Altering Pitch of Vocals in Real-Time

This may sound stupid, but...

Is there a plugin (or something else) that alters the pitch of a signal in real time?

I've been able to get samples to play at different pitches AFTER saving and reloading a sample. That's simple enough. You can just use the keyboard to play the sample at various pitches.

But what if you wanted to hear the changed pitch as you record the sample?

I've searched through every plugin I own, and couldn't find a simple solution, so can someone please suggest something?
