Set default record folder

Hi all..
This has probably been discussed ad nauseum and there's likely already a thousand posts about it, but I'm in a bit of a rush to get a mix out. Is there way to assign a PERMANENT "Recordings folder" path to FL ? With every new FL release and update, we end up with a Recordings folder on the drive FL is installed for each version. If FL allowed us to choose our Recordings folder location, then each rendition of FL could merely place a folder added to the directory WE tell it to, rather than have it create yet another new folder in the Program Files. So, this means when in a project and you right click on the record button on a channel in the mixer, it launches a the record location WE set as opposed to the default DATA\PATCHES\RECORDINGS folder of the current FL version.
