Simple Dry/Wet Knob in Patcher

Hi there,
I've been trying to create a Dry/Wet-knob to mix between dry and wet signals within patcher.
I ended up applying formula controllers and came really close to a good result, but it's not perfect regarding volumes.

How have I tried that:
For the purpose of identifying the volume issues, I first ran two identical signals into two 'send' plugins (within patcher) and applied my dry/wet-knob in control surface to them.

The idea is to increase the volume of one signal, while the other signal is being decreased. However the send plugin has some kind of volume curve applied to it and has head-room left for further amplification. So to get 100% volume of the incoming signal, the volume of the send plugin has to be 80% (just like any fader in the mixer rack).

So when turning your d/w-knob for example so both signals are at let's say 50% volume and overlapping each other, you would think hat 50% + 50% equals 100% volume.. wrong - because of the volume curve inside those send plugins! The overall volume of both signals is then lower than the volume of one signal. So while using this d/w-knob, it would result in affecting volumes in general.

So what I did was applying curves through formula controllers to increase the volume while using the knob somewhere between 10 to 40% and 60% to 90% and then lower a little at 50%. Now the volume differences aren't really audible anymore, but still I wanna know, how to create a perfect d/w-knob in patcher yourself.

Thanks in advance
