Yeah, I'm really struggling with this theory now it's here, pretty sure the synth was fine using this method.pheromone wrote: this does not seem to work when trying to map the same controls to different plugins on a mixer track the way it sounded in your post, when selecting omni with remove conflicts it seems to allow multiple links but it controls them all at the same time no matter what window is selected and in focus. turning it off just takes away the multiple link functionality.
i had to "override generic links" to allow that window specific control, otherwise i was controlling the compressor ration at the same time i was adjusting the Q on a PEQ2
When selecting another channel with Fire linked just to control one instrument, even just tweaking the controller causes this version to crash, hopefully that gets sorted ASAP, again pretty sure the synth didn't do this.
Hopefully soon it'll be easier to use to control per channel differently, and I'm not sure on one theory I had regarding just adding more instruments below the channel to control (solely as extra control channels) as when trying to select what extra say ADSR it reselects the initial instrument - hopefully there will be a Fire instrument channel smart/easy link workaround soon. The effects should still be possibly to control in this manner though.
Overall though it's great, pads feel good - be nice if all buttons were as soft (and quiet to keep me out of trouble operating in bed beside a tired wife) though they'd maybe get knocked accidentally that way. And the 4 controls feel immense, especially with Transistor Bass, was a little worried from having previously tested a small AKAI 25 keyboard's dials in a store, but these are brilliant.
