Render speed - 16 Gb vs 32 Gb RAM, or is it more of a CPU task?

I render a LOT per day and I wonder if anyone has experience with render speed when upgrading from 16 Gb to 32 Gb Ram.
Or is 16 Gb more than enough to render and it's more of a CPU task ?

CPU: Intel i7 6700k
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB DDR4-2666
