Many times I find the auto-slicing feature being really imprecise because the markers are placed on zero point crossing rather than on transients.
In Ableton instead I noticed that with the same sample, transients are detected much better, I suppose because it doesn't care about zero point crossing.
Is there a way to disable it?
In edison, slicex, but also when auto-slicing in the playlist.
Also because I'm not sure which is the "time threshold" for that zero crossing. Many times the marker is placed far behind the actual transient even if there are multiples zero crossing points much nearer to it.
Any help?
Thank you
