Been a while on here. This is the latest lefty whinge-fest; a sarcastic little ditty about the crazy nutters trying to drag the UK back to some imagined great days of 'splendid isolation'. I had used the main 12 string riff in a shite entry on here in the 'big-beat' contest, but decided that since Roger McGuinn of the The Byrds spent a bit of time writing it, it deserved a better song
. Some sub psychedelic middle bit, bit of sinthesiser, stacked backing vocals (combination of real and faked - possibly more Bon Jovi than The Byrds..
), bit of strummed bass on the Revelation Bass VI (verrry nice - don't know what I did without it!) and there you go...
