VFX Key mapper presets

The upper right corner of key mapper has a selector for different scales, chords, etc.
I would like to be able to select from an external switch (pc keyboard/midi keyboard/surface/??) but I can not figure out how to do this.

Anyone know how? Thanks!


Also note that the "enable" does not turn key mapper on/off, but instead is "on" for on and a input pass-through for off. Not very intuitive.
