what input port are native fl studio instruments set to?

Hi I am using an external sequencer and when I select a kick sample in FL studio a single kick sound on the first step plays everytime the pattern comes around (the pattern is more complex that that). What input port are FL studio instruments set to by default? as an option I dont want the kick to ever trigger when it is selected. Is there a way to do that?
