SliceX vsti - hold shift to add samples?

Hey guys
Does Hold shift + Drag sample into SliceX vsti works in other DAWs like in FLstudio? I tried it in my friend's studio and it doesn't work...I was wondering if this is a bug or is there another way...

or in other words, is there a quick way to add samples without replacing the current sample in SliceX vsti when using in other DAWs ?
