FL 20.5 beta?

I logged into the forum and see 20.5 beta out which is a bit of a jump. It seems to be a continuation of the previous beta 20.2. Maybe they are just realigning with what it should have been but I thought it was odd they didn't release 20.2 stable. Or 20.3 considering all they have done so far. Especially since I'm not seeing much new on this beta.
I'm not disappointed just curious. This must mean that they plan on making much bigger changes soon since they are pushing closer to 21.

Edit: there are some new things of interest in the beta I was mostly wondering about the jump
