how to timestretch a loop and bring it into edison

hi, thanks

im trying to timestretch a loop into whatever bpm i want it to be,
and then once the loop is timestretched,
i want to take that loop into edison,
and then chop the loop,
so i can bring the chops into fpc, to assign to pads

when i timestretch a loop via the playlist, it works, it fits to the bpm,
but, that does me no good, because i don't want to assemble the song in the playlist,
i want to trigger chops from fpc,
so, is it somehow possible to get that stretched loop in the playlist into edison - while maintaining the stretch?

i tried timestretching the loop in edison itself, but, the timestretch feature in edison isn't very handy in my opinion,
because it doesn't provide precise enough numbers when scrolling on the dial,
so it doesn't provide a perfect loop

the playlist stretch is good, because it seemingly stretches it perfectly to the bpm desired,
but, again, i'm not trying to assemble the beat in the playlist,
so, i'm basically just wondering how i can get a stretched loop into edison,
where i will then chop in edison

if it's possible to do this in slicex, i'd be willing to hear that as well,
but, i just tried timestretching in slicex, and, i didn't find that feature to be useful/effective,
which is why i keep saying edison

thanks :)
