I'm currently using sequencers made by HY Plugins, and when you add them to the Patcher they are only given a yellow and green output, even though they send MIDI CC messages. But those CC messages are not transmitted to FL synths, because apparently CC messages can only be sent over the red connection for Parameters.
Maybe there's some way to make the connection that I'm just not aware of, but if not, it would be nice to have.
