Question about recording inputs re: Presonus Quantum 2

Hi everyone, I posted here since this isn't really a tech support question. It's more just a general inquiry. Hypothetically speaking, if I were to upgrade my current USB audio interface to a Thunderbolt interface (namely, the Presonus Quantum 2), I could eventually daisy chain up to four Quantum 2's - giving me a whopping 16 mic inputs (8 of which are combo Mic/Line and the other 8 are Mic/Instrument). My question is - could FL Studio accommodate 16 inputs simultaneously? That would be cool, if possible. I could record bands live, among other things.
