I had an accident

It finally happened. Just got released from hospital. Snapped my humerus in half, out in the sticks in sub zero temps. Gonna require surgery. They had search parties looking for me. It’s my good hand/arm. Here’s a shot from not long before it happened.

I’m pretty fortunate to be alive, so praise the Lord. I feel humbled and grounded by this experience. In pain too. I’ve scared the shit out of everyone around me, and that’s not sommat I ever intended to do

Gone from athlete to temporarily crippled. Not exactly the transformation I desired, but I’ll try to learn what I can from this situation. Hopefully my arm can be fixed. Time will tell.
