Using Image-Line Data Folder For Mac OS and Windows

Is it possible to use the same Image-Line Data Folder for both a Mac and PC without any issues?

For instance, with two MacBooks, I would be using the same Image Line Data Folder since it is stored in my iCloud documents folder. I can easily access the same iCloud documents on PC, but my concern is with the compatibility of the Image Line Data Folder between Mac OS and Windows.

I want to do this so that my data folder and projects are synced between both Mac and PC.
