YouTube Monitization

Firstly my apologies if this is in the wrong forum - I searched many times and could not find this subject covered anywhere and no particular forum related to this query.

I have released some music produced entirely with FL Studio and I have not used Stems or loops from any source except loops I created myself from - for example - a single kick drum sample, Hi Hat etc.. I even - as most of us here do - painstakingly sound engineer to get results for unique sounds.
All melodies and riffs I make are original work and some of my work is out there now on Spotify, Deezer, iTunes with others such as Beatport to follow.
They have also been distributed to YouTube. And this is where the problem begins.

YouTube allow my music to be played/streamed and will show advertising to accompany it, but they won't let me monetise my own work on the grounds that it is made in DAW, uses samples and license free samples.

I feel this is very unfair and am looking for ways to challenge it. I can spend months of hard work putting music together and while it might not be to everyone's taste, or even as professional as the likes of Van Buuren, it is still work that I should be able to profit from. And the same applies to all of you reading this.
How do I tackle this with YouTube? Just to add: Facebook have the same criteria. If it is DAW, you're deemed unworthy.

Listening to the latest pop tunes and the most popular dance beats currently doing the rounds, I am convinced (it is obvious) that they too are made using DAW and with many stems, samples and loops, licensed or otherwise.
How is it these songs are not blocked from monetisation? Is it one rule for those who self publish and another for the big record companies and superstars of popdom?

Well, just something I wanted to put out there. It's been along time since I came across discrimination of EDM makers - not since the 80's/90's and I'd like to know if anyone else has come across this, circumnavigated it and managed to challenge YouTube/Facebook?
