Hello,
I noticed that several of my external plugins are listed twice in the Plugin Database view, even within af category.
For example, I have U-He Repro1 as VST (twice), Audio Unit (twice) and as VST3.
Though it was only installed once, not upgraded later.
All plugins are x64 (according to the plugin browser).
So I was just wondering if this double entries are a side effect of doing multiple scans?
Would this be an avoidable phenomenon?
Also, as VST is preferred over AU (according to the FL docs https://www.image-line.com/support/flstudio_online_manual/html/basics_externalplugins.htm, could I disable/exclude somehow the display/availability of AU plugins with FLS on Mac?
Kind regards,
Geert

WE NEED DETAILS!
We appreciate it's frustrating when things don't work as expected. However, please help us to help you by following these suggestions:
- Simple clear explanation - Explain what you are doing, or trying to do, and exactly what is happening.
- Update - Before trying anything else. Download and install the latest version of FL Studio from here. Your bug may be fixed already!
- Update macOS - Are you using AT LEAST the last version of macOS High Sierra (10.13.6). Mojave and Catalina are also good.
- Specific information - a) FL Studio version & build number, b) what you are doing and what happens exactly, c) step-by-step instructions how reproduce the problem.
- Screenshots - Another great way to demonstrate issues. See how here. Include images using the 'Attachments' tab, at the bottom of the post edit window.
- A video - The best way of demonstrating many issues - Use QuickTime as shown here. Include videos to your post from the 'Attachments' tab, at the bottom of the post edit window.
- Use English - Google Translate your post. Short simple sentences in your original language translate best. We are happy to work this way, no need to worry.
