fl studio audio recording starts in wrong place

I am using a scarlett solo usb audio interface, my audio setting for my device input/output is set to focusrite usb ASIO, my playback is set to mixer and my snap to grid is set to none yet everytime I record audio and then end the recording, the audio is moved to the wrong place. The audio does not start where I actually started the recording it is moved randomly back and sometimes even moved randomly forward. Please help, I've been searching the internet for hours now for solutions and none of it is effective.
