Upload Website FTP / SFTP Problem

Does anyone of you use Filezilla to upload and update the website? I tried that once, but after the upload my online editable pages are empty?
Does anyone have an idea why this is happen?

For some time now I can't upload a project with the FTP of EZG. I always get the message "login incorrect". When I use the same upload settings in filezilla, login works??


I use 1and1 IONOS webhosting. Is it maybe because the FTP of IONOS only uses SFTP?
