Latency issues specific to FL?

So attached, I have a screenshot of my mixer with the my sidechain channel selected. I have latency and automation compensation on but for some reason using linear phase before the shaperbox 2 (my sidechain plugin) results in unfixable latency. I've tried manually fixing the tracks with linear phase and even tried moving the automation over in shaperbox which is the only thing that seems to work.

I know it's not shaperbox specific because it works in ableton without any further adjustment. Even tried looking at the latency caused by each plugin and manually setting it in but that didn't work either.

Any suggestions?
