CPU load FL Studio (and PPQ settings)

That's it... this is unbearable... this is not a little feature request I have every right to bring this up.

FL Studio's CPU load has unreasonably short legs. Never in the history of my use of FL Studio have I actually reached the end of the project, even BEFORE mixing without my CPU hitting the max and I even bought a new CPU for that, thinking it's going to fix things but it didn't. I run a I7-7700k at the moment and I didn't see a huge difference between that and a very old laptop I had.

I tried other DAWs specifically because of that issue, hoping the workflow would work for me so I can finally be done with this but I didn't feel comfortable workflow wise.

I bought the end of year sale yesterday to upgrade to the all plugins version despite my problems with the CPU. I really love that DAW but this is unbearable and I can't work and it's not like this in other DAWs at all. Not even close as far as I can tell. It's even changing my production techniques. I'm relying on other methods so I won't have to open new VSTs... I start hitting underruns long before I get close to finishing the track.

CPU optimization should be the number 1 priority now.

Please don't tell me to consolidate because I always do that despite that I don't really have to considering the early stage I am in the track.

I am a loyal customer but I know friends, one of them an international act, who quit the DAW because of that reason. I am looking elsewhere too but don't want to.

This has to be fixed please.
