A keyboard shortcut to change MIDI channels/colours? reflex or shinyless - any thoughts on this?

Is it possible to assign a keyboard shortcut to change MIDI channels/colours of the Piano Roll for the the next update?

Example/suggestion: Shift+W for forward direction (channels 1 -> 16), Shift+E for reverse direction (channels 16 -> 1)

It will be really helpful to switch the MIDI channels through this shortcut and record MIDI data of different instruments with different colours without having to select channels. I understand the Locking channel to controller and MIDI pass through are being implemented, which are great, but I still feel that this shortcut would be very useful. The shortcut should cycle through all the MIDI channels from 1 to 16. This will really help improve the workflow. If it sounds reasonable enough and can be done, it will be really appreciable if it is implemented.
