DirectWave - Remove Gray Transparency on Keyboard?

I was hoping someone can tell me if there is a way to remove the Gray Transparency over the Keyboard in DirectWave?

When it's grayed out, it's difficult to quickly spot where I am -- when testing some notes or some various instrument key samples I've placed in there. (see attached picture below that illustrates what I am referring to)

What I wish to see is the normal white keyboard with black keys -- without that gray transparency over it.
