Hi - I'm brand new to Harmor, and am struggling to understand it. I do understand additive synthesis - very well in fact - but when I start with a synth I find my mind has to imagine the signal flow from one end to the other, and Harmor doesn't seem to be linear. I've tried reading the help, and also the in-depth manual pinned in this forum, but they're somehow not clicking with me.
Where does the sound actually originate in Harmor. It seems that if I open a blank instance then Timbre 1 and 2 should be regarded as the oscillators. But then if I load an image or wav file, that seems to become the oscillator, and timbre 1 and 2 become a method of quickly altering the partial profile (and actually don't seem to have a lot of effect). Can anyone help me get straight in my head how to think of the signal flow?
