How to upgrade from 20.7.1 with USB stick?

Hi,

Long time demo user, first time registered poster..

I activated my demo version of FL 20.7.1 a couple days ago by purchasing $99 Fruity Edition and using my account credentials to register. But I downloaded some flps made in FL 20.8 and 20.9 and they don't work in my older version. I'd like to upgrade to the latest version of FL20 (I'm not ready for FL 21 yet) so I can read them.

My Windows home computer which FL Studio is installed on has, basically no internet access. This is by choice because I am *ahem** not well-behaved on the internet, there's a lot of bad places I go... Can I go to another computer at a friends house, download the latest version of FL20 on a thumb drive and transfer it to my home computer?

Again, I want the latest version of FL20, not FL21. I have heard various Beta comments and instability about FL21.

Failing that, can I just download FL21 on a USB stick from another computer and transfer it my home computer as a separate installation alongside FL20?
Can FL21 read flp files made in FL20.8, FL20.9.....
