How is my computer still lagging when I try to record my guitar

Hi,

I have used FL studio in the past without issue. Coming back to it, I want to record my guitar. However, I cannot get rid of the latency.

I have tried all combinations with the latency buttons and buffers.



In addition to that I have a pretty hefty computer. Do I need more RAM? I record on Logic on my mac with the same amount of ram and there is no latency.



I really do miss FL Studio and I would love to use it again. Can anybody help?
