A 'light' version of the 16,256-Sampler (viewtopic.php?t=301846), employing only one instance of DirectWave with 16 x 127 = 2032 samples, which for many applications might be more than enough and is more gentle on the CPU. Primarily intended for sample screening, but there could be other uses, too.
Load samples into one, many or all banks of DirectWave and 'Remap zone(s) as drumkit'. Samples are triggered by any MIDI note (keyboard or Piano Roll). The "Bank #" slider is used to select a bank. The "Sample #" knob determines which sample within the selected bank is being played. Turn the knob to choose a sample.
If a sample (Zone) spans multiple notes in DW (e.g. one sample across the entire keyboard), the knob qualifies the pitch the sample is played at. Hence, e.g. automating the "Sample #" knob yields quick timbre variations then.
