I've recently created a couple of Patcher presets (e.g. viewtopic.php?t=300980) in FL21.0.2 that used VFX Sequencer as a self-contained sequencer, i.e. notes were emitted without further note input. For this, 'Note Select' was set to the 'Scale' setting.
So far, this has been working fine, but after updating to FL21.0.3, VFX Sequencer seems to only send notes when receiving an input note.
The manual states: "VFX Sequencer will take note input from the Piano roll or a MIDI Controller and transform chords into melodic phrases according to the pattern you program or patch selected. VFX Sequencer is a pattern arpeggiator and step sequencer designed to be used in Patcher to send note sequences to connected instrument plugins."
Instead, BlueArp still seems to work without note input when 'Key Select' is set to 'Fixed'.
Has this been a deliberate change or did something break on the way? I'm a bit puzzled, as it has been working flawlessly before; perhaps I remember something the wrong way?
Any help or clarification would be much appreciated!
