FL Studio doesn't automatically load certain plugins

So I just got a new computer and have been installing all my music production stuff in a separate hard drive inside it's own folder, for convenience. I have that folder set inside the plugin database search (manage plugins) and it found all my plugins. The one issue I have is that when I open project I had on my older computer, it doesn't load certain plugins (Fabfilter Saturn and VPS Philta) and I have to load them manually (by replacing the fruity wrapper with the plugin it originally was). I have started installing VST3 instead of VST for better performance and I don't know if that could be the issue. It's still installed inside the same folder as the other plugins. On my old laptop, everything was VST so could this be why it doesn't load?
