DAW hangs while "scanning" 21.0.3.3505 RC 2 Windows

Steps to reproduce:

1. Search for a project name in the browser.
2. Load project by clicking one of the returned search results
3. After project loads, DAW hangs while Hint panel displays "Scanning" apparently due to browser searching again for the previous populated search. Only this takes many times longer (up to half a minute or so) than the initial search took to complete (almost instanteneous) and also completely hangs the DAW whilst doing so.
4. Eventually, (when "Scanning" process has completed) DAW functionality returns back to normal.

^ This hanging issue happens every time and for any project whenever a populated search for a project is then loaded via the browser.

If no such search is conducted (or any existing/populated browser search is cancelled) and user instead, manually loads same projects via File > Open... then no such DAW hang occurs (since the browser search bug is not being triggered into "Scanning" after the project loads, which appears to be the cause of this issue.
