After I read "Dashboard Control Design.txt" and took a look at the existing .ini-files, I was able to create a Patch-Selector Control for my hardware Synths which displays the correct patch/program names for a Dashbaord plugin.
However, it says Dashboard plugin is only for backwards compatibility and we should use "Control Surface" plugin for new projects instead.
What I cannot figure out so far: how do I create a patch selector for the "Control Surface" plugin?
