How many others suffer as I do with extremely poor quality tutorials.
I mean those that are intended to instruct new users on how to use effectively and must assume the user is new to FL but has basic DAW understanding. I dont want to be presented with clickbait infomercials selling a product or an Online Course
Problems as I see it
a) Attitude problem, laid back casual presentation full of ego - look how cool and smart I am
I am on this site to learn not have my time wasted
b) Demos are consistently very bad - in that dialog is way to quick and filled with chit chat
c)Screen demos have the cursor flashing across the screen , pausing at a small spot and activating an action/pop up/drop down menu etc.Your eye didnt follow the tiny cursor arrow. When it stopped you dont know where. A menu was pulled down and you dontknow where from and so on. I wasted soooo much time trying to dig out what happened. Was this deliberate - like a Magician doesnt reveal his tricks to the kids
OBTW Try and get a Noob to test run your Vid first
d) A simple set of text conventional instructions like Main/Options/General Settings/Theme. BUT these must be accurate and clearly refer to a specific Window
e) Many YT vids use a large curse with a coloured halo around it
f) Before clicking PAUSE for 5sec for the User to catch up and say what you are doing. Let a menu or pop up etc show a few secs
g) Use Speech to Text so subtitles can be read by non english Users
h) Allow comments from Users so you can see how well your tutorials are received
I dont object to the learning curve its just the time wasted by amateur presenters making lazy self indulgent ego trips
BTW the User Manual is really only for familiar users looking for specific points and is out of date
This really is poor stuff
