kick is messing with my vocals

Hello! I've been running into an issue lately... I recorded some vocals on a beat that I made. Only problem is, I have soft clipper on the master and the kick track to go for that loud metro boomin type effect on the mix. I like how it distorts some of the instruments (like the hihat) but what annoys me is that it does the same to my vocals, especially on the "S" sounds.

Is there a way I can have my vocals bypass what the kick is doing to my mix? I love a loud kick, but I'd like to find a way to not have my vocals be effected by that. I thought about doing more EQ on the vocals, but I really like where they sit in the mix right now.
