This is in response to a request in Looptalk (viewtopic.php?t=323752).
The value of the random LFO is stratified into three bins (<= 0.333, between 0.333 and 0.666, and >=0.666) using Fruity Formula Controller, each activating its audio path via a Fruity Balance.
When testing, please keep in mind that Fruity Peak Controller is suboptimal as source of a random LFO, because it resets upon starting the clock/transport. A random LFO based on Fruity Formula Controller (e.g. viewtopic.php?t=288262 or viewtopic.php?p=1700254#p1700254) will provide more LFO variety.
Addendum: A factor of 0.8 can be added to the formulae in Fruity Formula Controller so that the audio signal output does not exceed the input.
