So I was watching this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1K4XqCaqSNc
And I was reminded quickly of this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uBrgQnizSQU
So I made this patch:
Which combines these two tutorials into a single Patcher preset. I do not f**k with surfaces yet, there's no surface.
REQUIREMENTS: KiloHearts Transient Shaper https://kilohearts.com/products/kilohearts_essentials
Notes: You WILL have to change the speed of the transient shaper, the threshold of Fruity Limiter, and the release of fruity limiter to your samples. Because the patch doesn't use the same method to dampen the beginning of the tonal as it does to dampen the end of the transient, you will have to make them line up manually according to your sample. I recommend placing this before any other signal processing effects on the chain.
Remember: we can invent anything.
PS: Feel free to edit this that it would use FL Studio's transient shaper instead of KiloHearts. I'm not as familiar with the FL one because I acquired it later. Or feel free to add a surface layout.
