Monitor output of Midi Out plugin

Hi,
Should i be able to see the output of FLs midi out in the debug?
I can see data from synth to FL but not the other way round.
even if I use MidiOx i can see the data inbound to FL but not outbound from FL for any midi.

I can send note data via midi out plugin - but not see it being sent via debug
I can link controllers and see the controller move when tweaked on the synth
but in the other direction when tweaking the controller on the midi out plugin it has no effect

so in summary no outbound midi data is visible from FL although I know at least some of it is working.
is there another level of debug required for this data to be exposed to users ?
