24.1 Beta 4 - Enhancing Slicex: Auto-Routing for Drum Components

I’ve been using the Slicex tool extensively and have an idea that could potentially enhance its functionality, particularly when working with drum loops.

Currently, when a drum loop sample is dropped into Slicex, it automatically slices the loop. In the regions tab, there’s an option to ‘Auto Rename All’. My suggestion is to extend this feature with an ‘Auto Route Outputs’ option.

This new feature would automatically route each drum component (e.g., kick, snare, hi-hat) to separate outputs. For instance, all kicks would be routed to Output 1, all snares to Output 2, and so on. This would streamline the mixing process and allow for more precise control over each drum component.

I believe this enhancement could significantly improve workflow and offer greater flexibility when working with drum loops in Slicex. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this.
