Chord Progression Tool - starting octave?

I didn't see a way to set the starting octave for the tool. Some of my pianos don't sound too great at the current octave (too low). I know I can Shoft-Mouse Wheel to change the selected octave/voicing but it seems to leave the bass note as-is and then it still sounds too low for what I'm looking for. Am I missing something to make it easier to set a starting octave range?
