Im working in to a big project and i realized how difficult is to rearrange clips, group of clips, etc ... to be honest is close to a nightmare, mostly because we dont have the right selection tools.
So i come with few ideas about what new Selection Tools we need in the Playlist to make any type of rearrangement a joy
Everyone will love you for these new Selection Tools
01 --- TIMELINE SELECTION:
When we have selected a Timeline Range, in the "+" Menu of the Selection to have 4 more options:
(A) - "Select All Clips from the Left" (including the clips from the selected range) - which will select all the Existing Clips from the End of the Selected Range to the Start of the Playlist.
(B) - "Select All Clips from the Right" (including the clips from the selected range) - which will select all the Existing Clips from the Start of the Selected Range to the End of the Playlist
(C) - "Select All Clips from Playlis" - which will select all the existing Clips from the Playlist.
(D) - "Include Automation Clips" - which will include in the Selection All Existing Automation Clips too.
Its a Radio Button type of option which will let us choose if to activate or not this option
02 --- BOX SELECTION:
When we use the Box Selection, on the appeared toolbar to have 2 more buttons:
(A) - "All" - which will select All the Clips from the Playlist
(B) - "Add to Selection" which will allow us to select and add other Clips in to the Existing Selection.
