MIDI CHANNEL PREVIEW when importing midi (.mid) files

When importing midi the option to hear the selected midi channel like when you hover over a sample in the browser but you can click "play or do some type of action" to play the midi channel in general midi (or if using some HQ option) via flex player if mapped to flex GM etc..

Rationality.

Often when importing midi you are forced to fumble through midi channel imports to find the channels you want to import especially if channels are not named properly.

Simply being able to play a midi channel in "preview mode" a bit like preview of process in audacity for instance before applying fx - however in this case the preview play would allow you to hear the midi channel that you select so you can quickly listen to tracks to select.

Also DISPLAYING the note data in a "mini piano roll" in the open space under the channel numbers would allow you to see the note data -- perhaps allowing some type of zoom over the note data to visually confirm the notes in a specific midi channel.

Importing midi can be a break of process so having a way of rapidly assessing midi as part of the import process might speed workflow and reduce the amount of seeking when trying to find the right midi channel.

I envision this has having a mini mid player that you can select and view individual channels as part of the import window.

Also as I was sitting this might be a good time to suggest

Importing midi directly into playlist and for it to be auto mapped to a "new pattern" but inserted directly into playlist .. also as the import process a "import to project tempo" option as it is annoying to import midi with tempo information that resets project tempo when playing.

AND
Bonus idea.
to import "flp into playlist" on the same type of process and to copy midi and arrangements from one fl studio instance to another through this common interface..

for instance when importing data from a channel rack to playlist it might use some common midi or project import function that will allow sections of fl studio arrangements including midi to be transferred from a file and import the sections (type of data - midi channel track pattern / playlist audio /pattern arrangement etc.. ) selected. mapped to some superset such as "midi export data". Such that fl studio projects functions may be translatable to some midi data and tied to project samples a bit like the flp does but mapped to midi.
